Wow!...what a tournament!....almost all the team group topper lost!....Portugal, Croatia and Holland lost to the 'weaker' team....except for Spain....i'm very entertained with all the live matches i watched on quaterfinals....and Yes, i did hope the underdog will outplay the top team....guess what? Germany, Turkey, Russia and Spain are through to semifinal....i consider Germany and Spain, underdog team since they haven't had any progress in Euro tournament for quite sometime. Germany vs Portugal,i did predict German can challenge the portugese....i dont see Portugal as 'strong' team.
Crotia vs Turkey match was the most dramatic match so far in this tournament, when the Croatian scored at the last minute of extra time, i thought its the end for the Turkey. But few second later, that bloody Semih Senturk, strike the unstoppable goal and made the Croatian failed on penalty shoot battle. U can really tell by looking at their face,the Croatian was so nervous and lost focus.
It was suprising to see the Russian was so solid on their defence....the Dutch was so irritated that they couldnt get through the wall....i guess Guus Hiddink knows how the Dutch play.
Spain Vs Italy, i knew, if the Spaniard can drag the Italian to penalty shoot out, they can definitely win the match. And yes it's proven. Spain won the penalty....
so the Semifinal fixtures gonna be German vs Turkey and Russia vs Spain......
